Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 program, to coordinate and deliver clinically competent care for dialysis patients. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation within the End Stage Kidney Disease care team, with potential delegation to PCTs, LPNs/LVNs, and RNs.

Requirements include nursing degree, current state licensure, CPR/BLS certification, and willingness to complete CAP requirements.

Qualifications

• RN with less than 2 years of nephrology nursing experience.
• Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate care for assigned dialysis patients.
• Administer medications and document appropriately.
• Collaborate with the care team and educate patients and families.
• Lead and supervise PCTs/LPNs/RNs as designated by supervision.
