Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP1 designation within the Clinical Advancement Program. The nurse provides and coordinates dialysis care, assesses patients, plans and evaluates treatment, and may delegate tasks to care staff under supervision.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which he or she is employed.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care for dialysis patients.
• Collect and document patient data during dialysis and adjust treatment plan.
• Educate patients and families about care.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Lead and train staff as assigned.
• Ensure lab collections and timely processing of specimens.

Education
