Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Florence, AZ seeks an Outpatient RN CAP 2 to join the clinical advancement program. This entry-level designation supports patient assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned group of dialysis patients.

You will collaborate with RNs, LVNs/LPNs and technicians, participate in education and quality improvement, and may serve as a preceptor after gaining experience. The role emphasizes leadership and CAP compliance in a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
• Entry level RN with minimum of 2 years of Nephrology Nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient data before, during, and after hemodialysis and document in the medical record.
• Direct and provide safe, effective delivery of hemodialysis care with team collaboration.
• Administer medications as prescribed and justify/ document effectiveness.
• Educate patients and families about treatment options and care plans.
• Support teaching, leadership, and quality improvement activities at the facility/area level.
• May serve as a preceptor to new employees.
