Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse to join the Outpatient CAP 1 program. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for adults undergoing hemodialysis, under supervision, with opportunities to lead and teach staff as CAP progresses.

The role requires nursing licensure, CPR/BLS certification and a commitment to patient education and safety. Travel to training sites and facilities may be required, with a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state licensure.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• RN with less than 2 years nephrology nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential nursing duties under supervision and guidance.
• Collect and analyze patient data during hemodialysis; document and adjust care plan.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and treatment options.
• Provide safe and effective hemodialysis care and administer medications as prescribed.
• Assist with emergency responses and staff training as needed.
