Job summary

Fresenius Kidney Care in Kentucky is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP 1). You will deliver and coordinate care for an assigned group of patients undergoing hemodialysis, under supervision, and participate in learning activities and quality improvements.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, active state licensure, CPR/BLS, and willingness to advance through CAP requirements. Travel to training sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure and CPR/BLS certification.
• Willingness to advance through CAP requirements.
• Entry-level RN with focus on nephrology nursing.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient data during dialysis and document in the medical record.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and self-care.
• Deliver safe, effective dialysis under supervision and coordinate with care team.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document effectiveness.
• Participate in staff training, QA activities, and quality improvement efforts.
