Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Ohio is seeking an entry level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP program. This CAP1 role provides assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for a group of patients, coordinating care with the nursing team.

Duties include data collection during hemodialysis, adjusting care plans, educating patients, administering medications per protocol, and supporting emergency response. Current state licensure and CPR/BLS are required; nephrology experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN entry level for CAP with RN licensure
• Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience preferred
• Graduate from accredited nursing program; CPR/BLS required

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care for assigned patients
• Document data collection and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and families about care plans
• Deliver safe hemodialysis in collaboration with care staff
• Administer medications as prescribed and manage emergencies
• Support staff training and orientation as assigned
• Ensure proper lab collection, processing, and follow-up
