Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry level Registered Nurse in Chicago Heights to join the Outpatient CAP program. You will assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care for patients undergoing hemodialysis as part of the ESKD team, with on the job training provided.

Qualifications

• Entry level RN with less than 2 years in nephrology nursing.
• Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience is preferred.
• On-the-job training is provided.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care under supervision with guidance from the educator or supervisor.
• Collect and document patient data during dialysis and adjust plan as needed.
• Educate patients and families about care plans.
• Deliver safe hemodialysis therapy with other staff.
• Administer medications as prescribed and manage emergencies.
