Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Outpatient RN CAP1 in Methuen, MA to join the clinical advancement program. You will assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate care for an assigned patient group under supervision.

You will educate patients and families, coordinate care with RNs and technicians, and participate in quality improvement initiatives within a fast-paced dialysis setting. The role provides full benefits and a defined leadership path.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• CPR/BLS Certification.
• Experience in nephrology or hemodialysis is preferred.
• Ability to work in a team and handle patient care tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Document patient data and adjust treatment plans as needed with supervision.
• Educate patients and families on care and transplant options.
• Administer medications per protocol and respond to emergencies.
• Assist with staff training and orientation as assigned.
