Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse CAP2 for Outpatient dialysis. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care, perform comprehensive patient assessments, plan and adjust therapies, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, effective hemodialysis delivery.

Responsibilities include education for patients and families, supervision of care staff, and participation in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state licensure to practice nursing.
• CPR BLS certification as required.
• Minimum 3 months of chronic/acute hemodialysis RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care for assigned patients during hemodialysis.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and document in the medical record.
• Collaborate with RNs, LVN/LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians; delegate tasks as appropriate.
• Administer medications per physician orders or approved algorithms and document outcomes.
• Lead, mentor and coach new staff; participate in quality improvement activities.
