Job summary

Qualifications

• RN with less than 2 years of nephrology nursing experience.
• Hemodialysis experience preferred (chronic/acute).
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; current US state licensure; CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing duties under supervision and with guidance from educators and supervisors.
• Collects and analyzes patient data during dialysis and documents in records; adjusts plan as needed.
• Provides patient and family education; administers medications as prescribed; participates in emergency response.
