Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry level Registered Nurse to join the Outpatient CAP 1 program. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients undergoing hemodialysis, including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.

The role involves delegation to patient care staff and education for patients and families, collaborating with the Interdisciplinary Team, and adherence to care policies.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the appropriate state.
• CPR BLS Certification.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Performs ongoing data collection and documentation for hemodialysis patients.
• Assesses and educates patients/families on learning needs.
• Delivers safe and effective hemodialysis therapy under supervision.
• Administers prescribed medications and documents justification.
• Participates in emergency response measures and staff training.
• Ensures proper lab collection, processing, and documentation.
