Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Center Point, IA is seeking an entry-level RN CAP 1 to join its outpatient nephrology team. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, coordinate tasks with care staff and participate in education, safety and quality initiatives.

As a CAP 1 RN, you will work under supervision, grow through the Clinical Advancement Program, and develop skills in dialysis delivery, documentation and teamwork with the interdisciplinary staff.

Qualifications

• Entry-level RN with nephrology nursing exposure preferred but not required.
• Licensed in the state where practicing and CPR/BLS certified.
• Willingness to participate in CAP education and development.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for assigned patients undergoing hemodialysis.
• Document patient data and adjust care plans in collaboration with the team.
• Educate patients and families on treatment options and self-care.
• Administer prescribed medications and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Support an interdisciplinary team in delivering safe, effective dialysis care.
