Job summary

Cone Health Medical Group is seeking a CT Technologist to perform Computed Tomography procedures under direct supervision, following approved workflows and protocols. You will operate CT scanners, educate patients, and ensure accurate documentation in CHL and PACS, supporting radiologists in diagnosing a range of conditions.

Responsibilities include producing high-quality images while minimizing radiation exposure, maintaining productivity benchmarks, and adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of Radiology, Imaging or related educational program required.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT scanners to create cross-sectional images (CAT scans).
• Performs routine and special CT exams adhering to protocols and ALARA to minimize dose.
• Documents exams in CHL and PACS, ensuring accurate charges and workflow.
• Educates and prepares patients for examinations to improve understanding and cooperation.
