Qualifications

• ARRT certification in radiography and CT preferred/required.
• CT certification within 1 year of employment.

Responsabilités

• Performs CT scans per established protocols and with radiologist oversight.
• Screen patients for IV contrast contraindications and obtain consent.
• Position patients and set techniques for optimal exposure and image quality.
• Review scans with radiologist before discharge when appropriate.
• Maintain safety standards and universal precautions for radiation protection.
• Complete charges for examinations and communicate with referring offices.
