Job summary

Cone Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT imaging to operate high-end CT scanners and generate diagnostic cross-sectional images. You will follow protocols to minimize dose and ensure smooth workflow within CHL and PACS while documenting charges accurately.

The role emphasizes patient education, safety, and adherence to ALARA principles to promote positive outcomes and patient experience. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; graduate of Radiology/Imaging or related program.
• Licensure/certification via ARRT RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT); NMTCB CNMT or CNMT/CT; combinations; BLS CPR.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners and produce cross-sectional images as part of diagnostic imaging.
• Perform routine and special CT exams following established protocols to minimize dose and maintain productivity.
• Complete exams and documentation in CHL and PACS, correctly identifying charges and addressing errors.
• Educate and prepare patients to enhance understanding and cooperation, promoting a positive patient experience.
• Demonstrate commitment to safe practices (ALARA) and Just Culture to reduce errors and improve outcomes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
