The CHS Career Site is seeking a CT Technologist I to operate CT equipment, produce high-quality images, and ensure patient safety and comfort according to established protocols. You will prepare and position patients, support radiologists, and contribute to timely diagnostic results.

Responsibilities include image quality review, contrast administration, screening for contraindications, and maintaining equipment.

Formación

• 1–2 years of clinical radiology experience from an accredited program.
• 2–4 years CT technologist experience in acute care preferred.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist and CT certification eligibility within 6 months.

Responsabilidades

• Operates CT equipment and processing systems to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Prepares and positions patients for CT procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Verifies patient identity, orders, and contraindications; prepares for contrast studies.
• Administers contrast media per protocol and monitors for reactions.
• Reviews images for technical accuracy and communicates findings to radiologists.
• Maintains CT equipment and performs routine quality control checks.
• Collaborates with radiologists and healthcare team to deliver patient-centered care.
• Responds to emergencies and supports interventional CT procedures as needed.
