Job summary

Cone Health Medical Group is seeking a CT Technologist to operate CT scanners and produce high-quality cross-sectional images to support radiologists in diagnosing various conditions. You will adhere to established protocols, educate patients, and ensure accurate documentation in CHL and PACS while maintaining radiation safety and dose optimization.

Open to students and experienced CT technologists, with required ARRT/NMTCB/CNMT licenses and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma or equivalent; graduate of Radiology/Imaging program.
• Licensure: ARRT/ NMTCB or CNMT per listing.
• Open to students and experienced CT technologists.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images for radiologists.
• Performs routine and special CT exams following protocols to limit dose.
• Completes exams and documentation in CHL and PACS with accurate charges.
• Educates and prepares patients to enhance cooperation and experience.
• Demonstrates ALARA principles and safe practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
