• Proficiency with healthcare software like NetHealth and PCC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and strengthen relationships with current and prospective referral sources through face-to-face meetings.
• Identify and market to local primary and specialty physicians for outpatient therapy needs.
• Coordinate community events and marketing campaigns with the Director of Rehab.
• Manage outpatient therapy schedule to maintain POC and coordinate with therapists on missed visits.
• Handle administrative duties including marketing and outpatient record keeping.

Willow Bend Nursing & Rehab in Mesquite, TX, is seeking an Outpatient Coordinator/Administrative Assistant. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about their profession and takes pride in the work they do. You will be responsible for building and strengthening relationships with current and prospective outpatient referral sources by completing face-to-face meetings with physicians, office managers, referral coordinators, and individuals in the community. You will educate these individuals on the services our facility offers, discuss patient care, referrals, and thank them for existing referrals. This position requires excellent computer and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and strengthen relationships with current and prospective referral sources by completing face-to-face meetings with physicians, office managers, referral coordinators, and individuals in the community.


• Identify and market to local primary and specialty physicians to address their patient's outpatient therapy needs.


• Assist the Director of Rehab with coordinating community events, public relations campaigns, or specialty marketing campaigns


• Manage outpatient therapy schedule to establish and maintain POC as well as coordinate with other therapists to reschedule any missed visits.


• Administrative responsibilities including but not limited to marketing and outpatent record keeping

Requirements

• Experience in marketing in healthcare is optional, but preferred
