Job summary

Packard Children’s Health Alliance is seeking a Clinical Assistant II to provide administrative support in an outpatient clinic. You will assist with registering, scheduling and greeting patients, relay messages to providers, and ensure patients are cared for according to hospital standards.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree may substitute.
• Experience: One year in a Medical Office setting required; preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: None.

Responsibilities

• Answer multi-line phone calls and route to staff.
• Schedule and edit patient appointments.
• Greet patients and manage waiting room.
• Collect patient demographics and insurance data.
• Process authorizations and collect co-pays.
• Maintain records and chart filing.
