Job summary

A-Line Staffing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) – Outpatient Clinic in Lindenhurst, IL. This contract role offers 40+ hours weekly, on-site only, with initial training and 6-week scheduling blocks.

The RN will administer medications, perform patient assessments, venipuncture, vaccine administration, and chart in EMR. BSN and active IL RN license required; 1+ year of Primary or Urgent Care experience; potential to hire permanently based on attendance and

Qualifications

• BSN degree required.
• Active RN license in state and in good standing.
• At least 1 year of healthcare experience.
• Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care or Emergency Room settings.
• Phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing experience.
• Proficiency with EMR systems; Epic experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification with expiration date at least 30 days beyond start date.

Responsibilities

• Administer oral, injectable, intravenous, and topical medications.
• Perform routine and advanced patient assessments.
• Monitor and document vital signs.
• Evaluate patient conditions and monitor responses to treatment.
• Conduct phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing.
• Educate patients regarding medication administration and self-care.
• Document medical histories and medications in EMR.
