Job summary

A-Line Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for an outpatient clinic in Evanston, IL. This contract role offers full-time hours (40+ per week) with on-site responsibilities, including patient assessments, med administration, and education.

Qualifications

• BSN required and active RN license in good standing.
• At least 1 year of healthcare experience.
• Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or ER preferred.
• Phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing experience required.
• Proficiency with EMR systems; Epic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer oral, injectable, IV, and topical meds.
• Perform routine and advanced patient assessments.
• Monitor and document vital signs (BP, HR, RR, temp).
• Evaluate patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Perform phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing.
• Review medications and check for interactions/side effects.
• Conduct mental health assessments (depression/mood).
• Document medical histories and meds in EMR.
• Educate patients on meds, self-care and disease management.
• Connect patients with healthcare and community resources.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and staff.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked clinic.
