Job summary

MercyOne Clinton Family Medicine is seeking a Clinic RN to deliver safe outpatient nursing care and coordinate with the care team. You’ll assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while educating patients and families.

You will work in a 12-hour shift model, with 8- to 5-week schedules, supporting MercyOne Clinton Family Medicine’s Convenient Care services and community health initiatives.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa; compact license acceptable where applicable.
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• Proficient in EMR systems and basic computer skills (Windows, email, MS Office).
• Ability to work in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
• Excellent communication with patients, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient patient care following nursing processes (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Coordinate care with physicians, staff, patients, and families.
• Educate patients and families about treatments and care plans.
• Maintain documentation accuracy in EMR and communicate across teams.
• Support scheduling, referrals, and admissions as needed.
