Job summary

MercyOne Clinton Family Medicine is seeking a Clinic RN to deliver high-quality outpatient care within a MercyOne clinic setting. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, coordinate with the care team, and educate patients and families as part of a trusted Trinity Health system.

You will maintain EMR documentation, support program goals, and participate in quality and risk management. Applicants must hold an Iowa RN license and BLS, with flexibility for 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa; compact state license acceptable where applicable.
• BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training within 3 months of hire.
• Proficient computer skills (Windows, web-based navigation, email, MS Office).
• Ability to read, write and understand English; effective communication with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient patient care using nursing processes: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation.
• Coordinate care with physicians, staff, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and families on treatments, discharge, and health maintenance; document education.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation of assessments, vitals, treatments, and charges.
• Participate in staff meetings, quality improvement, risk management, and performance projects.

Education

Active Iowa RN License

BLS certification within 3 months

Mandatory Reporter abuse training within 3 months

Proficient in Windows/ MS Office

English language proficiency
