Job summary

MercyOne Clinton Family Medicine (Convenient Care) is seeking a Clinic RN to provide outpatient nursing care, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will collaborate with physicians and staff, support patient education, and ensure quality care across teams.

Responsibilities include coordinating care, documenting in EMR, administering medications, and assisting with procedures. Requires active Iowa RN license and BLS; 40 hours/week with 12-hour shifts in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa; compact license acceptable where applicable.
• BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (Windows, MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in outpatient settings in accordance with clinical standards.
• Coordinate care with physicians, staff, patients, and families.
• Deliver patient and family education and ensure understanding of treatments.
• Document assessments, plans, treatments, and patient education in the EMR.
• Assist providers with appointments, referrals, and procedures.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and compliance with policies.
