Job summary

MercyOne Clinton Medical Center in eastern Iowa is seeking a Clinic RN to deliver compassionate outpatient care in the Convenient Care setting. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, collaborate with physicians and staff, and ensure accurate EMR documentation and patient education.

The role is full-time with 12-hour day shifts, supporting a mission-driven health system. An Iowa RN license, BLS within 3 months, and a collaborative attitude are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa is required.
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• Compact state license acceptable where applicable.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (Windows, MS Office).
• Ability to work with diverse groups in a collaborative setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient patient care with assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Coordinate care with physicians, staff, and families.
• Educate patients and families on treatments, medications, and follow-up.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation including vitals, orders, and education.
• Participate in staff meetings, quality improvement, and safety initiatives.
