Job summary

MercyOne Clive Family Medicine Clinic, part of Trinity Health, seeks a Clinic RN to deliver outpatient patient care in a busy setting. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, coordinate with physicians and staff, educate patients and families, and maintain EMR documentation.

Strong teamwork and clinical judgment are essential for safe, evidence-based care. Must hold an Iowa RN license; BLS and mandatory training must be completed within 3 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa and ability to obtain licensure in other states if needed.
• BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training completed within 3 months of hire.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (Windows environment, email, MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in outpatient settings with safe, effective, evidence-based practice.
• Coordinate care with physicians, staff, patients, families and interdisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and families on treatments, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation including assessments, vitals, meds, and histories.
