The Thrive Network is seeking an Outpatient Coordinator & Scheduler in Cherry Hill, NJ. This part-time, non-exempt role supports client intake, appointment scheduling, and billing workflows within a fast-paced, mission-driven health care setting.

You will work closely with clinicians and administrative staff to ensure accurate scheduling, smooth onboarding, and compliant documentation across EHR systems. Strong communication and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in behavioral health or medical office administration.
• Working knowledge of CPT codes, ICD-10, insurance billing, and HIPAA compliance.
• Experience using EHR and billing platforms.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and multitasking.
• Passion for supporting mental health services.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for new outpatient clients, guiding intake and onboarding.
• Schedule therapy and appointments based on clinician availability.
• Coordinate care across Thrive’s locations and providers; keep EHR documentation up to date.
• Communicate with clients and families with empathy and professionalism.
• Support clinicians by managing schedule changes, appointment reminders, and follow-ups.
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain authorizations as needed.
