Job summary

Thrive Behavioral Network is seeking an Intake Specialist to manage client admissions and discharges, coordinating with referrals and external agencies to secure appropriate services and insurance coverage.

Responsibilities include coordinating with clinical staff, ensuring paperwork is completed on time, and arranging community services such as therapy, psychiatry, and case management to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of symptoms and course of serious mental illness and related therapies.
• Knowledge of evidence-based clinical practices.
• Familiarity with Vulnerable Adults Laws and relevant rules.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate admissions and discharges with Treatment Director and staff.
• Review referrals and confirm insurance/payment coverage for Thrive programs.
• Ensure timely paperwork and coordination with service providers.
• Coordinate community services (therapy, psychiatry, case management, ARMHS).
• Communicate with outside agencies and respond to inquiries promptly.
