Job summary

The Ridge Behavioral Health System in Lexington, KY is seeking an Outpatient Office Coordinator to provide clerical support to the Outpatient Services. This full-time position handles patient registration, charting, payments, and uploads paperwork into facility systems, while upholding policy and confidentiality.

You will work with a professional team in a trauma-informed environment, coordinating with departments to admit patients and maintain outpatient schedules.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Previous office experience preferred.
• CPR and Crisis Intervention training provided upon hire.
• General office and phone skills required.
• Excellent organization and written/verbal communication skills.
• Legible handwriting required.
• Ability to handle confidential information with a congenial attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prepares new admission charts and files patient information accurately.
• Demonstrates knowledge of outpatient schedule and operations; communicates this to patients and visitors.
• Coordinates with all departments to admit step downs and new admits.
