Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinates transportation and communicates details to patients and staff.
• Responsible for following up on vehicle maintenance needs.
• Maintains transportation/maintenance logs.
• Follow up with patients when absent from group and provide reminder calls as necessary.
• Follow up on all inpatient referrals; stepdown admissions.
• Provides customer service and follow up with inpatient therapist on referrals.
• Keeping therapist informed of referral and patient status.
• Visit with potential outpatient referrals in Intake.
• Assists in maintaining patient charts, including admission and insurance data.
• Answer phones in a professional manner and answer questions as appropriate.
• Escort patients to and from lunch.
• Collect co-pays from patients.
• Fax pre-certs to insurance companies.
• Assist in transportation duties, as necessary.
• Refers patient to the Business Office when financial arrangements need to be made.
• Demonstrates flexibility and organization under stress.
• Ensures documentation meets current standards and policies.
