Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking an Outpatient Business Office Trainer to design, coordinate, and deliver comprehensive onboarding and ongoing education for the outpatient revenue cycle team.

The role focuses on building expertise in cash collections, denial prevention, compliance, and customer service within Meditech, TheraOffice, Quadax, and clearinghouse workflows. Qualifications

• Comprehensive understanding of the outpatient healthcare revenue cycle.
• Knowledge of insurance billing requirements including Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, workers' compensation, PIP, MedPay, and managed care.
• Understanding of denial management, payment posting, accounts receivable, credit balances, and appeals.
• Strong instructional design and adult learning principles.
• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
• Ability to simplify complex revenue cycle concepts into understandable learning content.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Experience with Meditech, TheraOffice, Quadax, and healthcare billing software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, coordinate, and facilitate a structured onboarding program for all new Outpatient Business Office employees.
• Develop role-specific learning paths that include classroom instruction, system training, job shadowing, and hands-on practice.
• Coordinate structured shadowing experiences with experienced staff members.
• Establish competency checkpoints throughout the onboarding period to validate knowledge and readiness for independent work.
• Conduct regular progress reviews with new hires and supervisors during the onboarding period.
• Maintain onboarding schedules, competency documentation, and training records.
• Develop and deliver ongoing education programs for existing staff.
• Communicate updates related to: Insurance payer requirementsCARC/RARC updatesRegulatory and compliance requirementsOrganizational policies and procedures
• Train staff on workflow changes involving systems including:MeditechTheraOfficeQuadaxClearinghouse workflows
• Payment posting processes
• Coordinate refresher training sessions based on quality trends and operational initiatives.
• Support implementation of new software, technology, and process improvements.

The Outpatient Business Office Trainer is responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering comprehensive training programs that ensure all Outpatient Business Office team members possess the knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary to perform their roles effectively. This position serves as the subject matter expert for revenue cycle education, onboarding, quality improvement, and ongoing staff development.
