Job summary

Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort is seeking an experienced Outlets Manager to oversee daily restaurant and room service operations across breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You will direct the bar and related outlets, hire and train staff, and ensure compliance with SOPs, safety, and quality standards.

Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, guest issue resolution, and maintaining cleanliness and equipment.

Qualifications

More than two years of post-high school education.
Two years of full employment in a related position with this company or other organization(s).
Hotel experience preferred.
Requires knowledge of restaurant/hotel practices and procedures to perform analytical work.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operations of the restaurant and room service for breakfast, lunch and dinner as directed by the Outlets Manager.
Direct day-to-day operations of the bar operations.
Interview, hire, train, develop, and evaluate staff; discipline/termination when appropriate.
Assist with implementing company programs and manage Restaurant/Room Service outlets to ensure SOPs and safety and quality standards.
Forecast, monitor, and report budgets (labor, food, beverage, supplies, equipment) to maximize revenue and control costs.
Respond to guest trends and issues to ensure a quality experience and future sales prospects.
Ensure sanitation and maintenance of outlet areas and equipment; comply with regulations.
