Job summary

Goodwill Outlet is seeking an Outlet Shift Leader to support the Outlet Store Manager and Assistant Manager in daily operations, ensuring safe, efficient product flow and high-quality customer service.

You'll lead on-shift teams, assign tasks, manage table rotation, assist with donation processing, and uphold safety, cleanliness, and production goals, while promoting Goodwill's mission and teamwork on the floor.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Education: Associate's degree in related field preferred.
• Experience: 1–2 years in retail, outlet, warehouse, production, logistics, or operations.
• Strong communication skills for clear direction and feedback.
• Ability to lead, coach, train, redirect, and hold team members accountable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-shift lead to support daily outlet operations safely and efficiently.
• Provide visible on-floor leadership to guide outlet associates.
• Lead team members on the outlet floor and ensure daily expectations are met.
• Assign work, redirect staff, and follow up on tasks during the shift.
• Support shift handoffs by communicating priorities, coverage needs, safety concerns, and updates to management.
• Escalate complex issues to management as needed.
• Support product flow through sorting, staging, rotation, and replenishment.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and customer-ready outlet environment.
• Train and coach team members on procedures, safety, and service standards.
