Qualifications

• Six months of general labor experience.
• Must possess valid Texas Class C Driver license.
• Compliance with DOT and City of Austin Drug Policy.

Responsibilities

• Picks up, processes, or disposes of trash, recyclables, or bulky items using appropriate collection equipment.
• Pre-trips equipment, maintains vehicle and equipment records.
• Operates waste collection vehicles and performs basic vehicle inspections.
• Reads maps to locate route destinations and follows designated routes.
• Interacts with customers and provides routine information about work performed.
• Follows safety rules, assists other ARR crews, and supports special cleanup operations.
