Job summary

Augment in Fresno, TX is hiring Driver Helpers to join our environmental services team. You’ll ride with a professional driver on residential or commercial routes, assisting with safe, timely pickups and loading of waste and recycling containers.

This is a physically active role outdoors, with weekly pay and room to grow within waste and recycling services. Qualities like reliability, ability to work in all weather, and a teamwork mindset help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Able to work in outdoor environment in all weather conditions.
• Physically capable of standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and using tools for extended periods.
• Willingness to work as part of a team and follow safety protocols.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
• Prior experience in general labor, landscaping, construction, or sanitation is a plus—but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ride along designated routes to assist the driver with pickups.
• Lift and load waste and recycling containers onto the truck.
• Operate the lifting mechanism (when trained) to empty bins.
• Walk and move quickly from stop to stop—this is a physically active role!
• Ensure all materials are collected safely and professionally.
• Help keep the vehicle clean and communicate any route issues to the driver or supervisor.
