Job summary

Augment in Orange, TX is hiring Driver Helpers to support professional drivers on residential or commercial waste and recycling routes. You will assist with pickups, load containers, and operate simple lifting mechanisms in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.

This full-time role requires early morning availability, physical stamina to lift up to 75 lbs, and teamwork to keep routes running smoothly. Background checks and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and move on your feet for extended periods.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Prior experience in general labor, warehouse, construction, or landscaping is a plus—but not required.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Ride along designated routes to assist the driver with pickups.
• Lift and load waste and recycling containers onto the truck.
• Operate the lifting mechanism (when trained) to empty bins.
• Walk and move quickly from stop to stop—this is a physically active role!
• Ensure all materials are collected safely and professionally.
• Help keep the vehicle clean and communicate any route issues to the driver or supervisor.
