Job summary

Augment is seeking a Driver Helper to support professional truck drivers on residential and commercial waste routes. This role keeps neighborhoods clean and active, requiring outdoor, physical work in all weather.

You will lift and load containers, ride along routes, and assist with safe, timely pickups. The team values reliability, teamwork, and safety; PPE is provided and weekly pay is offered.

Qualifications

• Must be dependable and able to work early morning shifts.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and move on feet for extended periods.
• Enjoys working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Ride along designated routes to assist the driver with pickups.
• Lift and load waste and recycling containers onto the truck.
• Operate the lifting mechanism (when trained) to empty bins.
• Walk and move quickly from stop to stop; this is a physically active role.
• Ensure all materials are collected safely and professionally.
• Help keep the vehicle clean and report route issues to the driver or supervisor.
