Job summary

Augment in Gilmer, TX is hiring Driver Helpers to support professional truck drivers on residential or commercial routes. This full-time, outdoor position keeps you active, pays weekly, and offers stable work with opportunities to grow in waste & recycling services.

You will lift and load containers, ride along routes, and ensure safe, on-time pickups. The job requires early mornings, physical stamina, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and a background check/drug screen. PPE is provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Availability for early morning shifts.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather.
• Prior general labor/warehouse experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ride along routes to assist the driver with pickups.
• Lift and load waste and recycling containers onto the truck.
• Operate the lifting mechanism (when trained) to empty bins.
• Move quickly stop to stop; this is a physically active role.
• Communicate route issues to the driver or supervisor.
• Help keep the vehicle clean.
