ArborMetrics is seeking a motivated Work Planner to join our vegetation management team. This outdoor role offers independence, a dynamic field environment, and the chance to contribute to safe, high-quality service for utility clients.

You will identify hazards, document vegetation work, and use GIS and forestry software while coordinating with leadership and customers. A strong safety mindset is essential.

Formación

• Knowledge of tree species identification, hazard tree assessment, and invasive species management.
• Minimum 30 semester credits or 45 quarter credits toward a degree; or 2-3 years of UVM experience without degree.
• Ability to hike ROWs and drive for extended periods.
• Knowledge of Utility Vegetation Management practices.
• Experience with GIS software, Microsoft Office, and iPhone.
• Must be able to work alone outdoors in varying conditions.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and report safety hazards, incidents, and unsafe conditions.
• Follow safety standards including safe driving and injury prevention.
• Drive to work sites and hike rights-of-way up to 10 miles per day.
• Inspect and document vegetation work at customer properties.
• Record vegetation data using tablets and specialized software.
• Use forestry computer systems for data entry and tracking.
• Address customer concerns and maintain positive public relations.
• Participate in storm and emergency response duties as needed.
