Job summary

ArborMetrics Solutions, LLC is seeking a Transmission Work Planner to support vegetation management operations across field sites. The role emphasizes outdoor work, safety, data collection, and coordination with clients and leadership to ensure efficient project delivery.

The position requires experience in utility vegetation management, knowledge of tree species and hazard assessment, and the ability to work independently in challenging outdoor environments while using GIS and tablet-based data

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of Utility Vegetation Management or forestry experience.
• Knowledge of tree species, hazard trees, invasive species, and growth patterns.
• Ability to hike ROWs and drive long hours.
• Experience with GIS and Microsoft Office; familiarity with iPhone.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather and terrain; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Identify and report safety hazards and comply with safety standards.
• Safely drive to sites and hike rights-of-way up to 10 miles per day; document vegetation work.
• Record vegetation data using tablets and specialized software; use forestry computer systems.
