Job summary

ArborMetrics (AMS) is seeking a proactive Work Planner for field vegetation management. The role combines outdoor fieldwork, safety compliance, and data collection using tablets and GIS software.

You will inspect vegetation, document work, and report findings while engaging with customers and stakeholders. The position requires independence, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to operate in varied weather and terrain.

Qualifications

• Adaptability to changing field conditions and schedules

• Ability to work independently in outdoor environments
• Good physical stamina and mobility for outdoor fieldwork

Responsibilities

• Identify and report safety hazards and incidents to maintain a safe worksite
• Drive safely to work sites and hike rights-of-way as required
• Inspect and document vegetation work (pruning/removal) at customer properties
• Record vegetation data using tablets and specialized software
• Use forestry computer systems for data entry and tracking
• Address customer concerns and communicate with stakeholders professionally
