Job summary

ArborMetrics is seeking a Work Planner Auditor to operate primarily in outdoor field environments, protecting communities and power reliability. You will use vegetation management expertise to inspect easements, coordinate with landowners, and guide crews in safe practices while ensuring high-quality service delivery.

The role requires outdoor stamina, strong communication, and GIS awareness, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

Ability to identify local trees and read maps.
Willingness to work alone, outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain within a remote area.
Superb written and verbal communication skills.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, smartphones).

Responsibilities

Improve safe and reliable electric service delivery to the public.
Act as subject matter expert regarding utility vegetation management (UVM).
Inspect electric utility easements and prescribe vegetation management actions.
Coordinate with landowners and stakeholders to develop vegetation management plans.
Ensure tree crews follow safety and arboricultural practices.
Address customer concerns related to vegetation near easements.
Coordinate with utility engineers for upgrades and new construction.
Negotiate with customers for tree removal as prescribed.
Perform QA/QC inspections on vegetation management work.
Identify vegetative threats and develop action plans to mitigate.
