Job summary

ArborMetrics Solutions seeks a Work Planner to join our field team, primarily in Alma/Clare, MI, with a company vehicle provided for job-related travel. The role requires physical outdoor work, safety focus, and independent operation in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifying candidates will have knowledge of tree species, hazard assessment, and GIS/mapping tools, plus strong communication skills for field and client interactions. We support ongoing training and certifications.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of tree species identification and hazard tree assessment.
• Ability to hike Right-of-Ways and drive long periods.
• Familiarity with Utility Vegetation Management practices.
• Experience with GIS software and Microsoft Office; iPhone.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Compliance: identify hazards, report incidents, follow safety standards.
• Field Operations: drive to sites, hike ROWs, document vegetation work, data entry.
• Customer & Stakeholder Relations: address concerns, communicate with leadership and clients.
• Emergency Response: participate in storm response and other duties as assigned.
