ArborMetrics is seeking a Work Planner for field duties focusing on vegetation management. You will safely drive to sites, inspect vegetation, and record data using tablets and forestry software.

The role emphasizes safety, customer interactions, and accurate reporting in diverse outdoor environments. The position requires knowledge of tree species and vegetation management practices, ability to hike ROWs, and strong communication with leadership and clients.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of tree species identification, hazard tree assessment, invasive species management, and understanding of tree growth patterns.
• Experience with GIS software/technology as well as Microsoft Suite and an iPhone.

Responsibilities

• Identify and report safety hazards, incidents, and unsafe conditions.
• Inspect and document vegetation work (pruning/removal) at customer properties.
• Record vegetation data using tablets and specialized software.
• Use forestry computer systems for data entry and tracking.
