ArborMetrics (AMS) is seeking a Work Planner to join our outdoor vegetation management team in Saint Mary’s, PA. The role emphasizes safety, data collection, and field operations with a company vehicle and comprehensive benefits.

As a full-time team member, you will safety-check sites, document vegetation work, and use GIS and tablets to track progress. Strong independence, adaptability, and outdoor stamina are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of tree species identification and hazard tree assessment.
• Understanding of invasive species management and tree growth patterns.
• Experience with GIS software and Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency with an iPhone and related apps for data collection.

Responsibilities

• Identify and report safety hazards, incidents, and unsafe conditions.
• Drive to work sites and hike rights-of-way, inspect and document vegetation work, record data using tablets and specialized software.
• Communicate effectively with leadership, auditors, clients, contractors, landowners, and the public.
• Participate in storm and emergency response duties as needed.
