ArborMetrics (AMS) seeks a Work Planner for outdoor vegetation management. You will drive to sites, inspect vegetation work, and record data using tablets and forestry software. The role emphasizes safety, independent work, and strong public interactions.

Applicants should have GIS software experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office and an iPhone, and the ability to operate in varied weather and terrain. Team and solo work environments are common, with ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Utility Vegetation Management practices.
• Ability to hike/Walk Right-of-Ways and drive for extended periods.
• Experience with GIS software/technology as well as Microsoft Suite and an iPhone.
• Must be able to work alone outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive to work sites and hike rights-of-way up to 10 miles/day.
• Inspect and document vegetation work at customer properties.
• Record vegetation data using tablets and specialized software.
• Use forestry computer systems for data entry and tracking.
• Address customer concerns and maintain positive public relations.
