Job summary

ArborMetrics (AMS) is seeking a Work Planner to join our vegetation management team. The role combines outdoor field work with data collection, safety oversight, and customer communication.

You will drive to sites, hike ROWs up to 10 miles daily, document vegetation work, and enter data into forestry systems using tablets and specialized software. Candidates should be comfortable working alone or with a team in varying weather, possess a valid driver's license, and adapt to a fast-paced field

Qualifications

• Experience with GIS software and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to hike/drive for extended periods in outdoor environments.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Identify and report safety hazards, incidents, and unsafe conditions.
• Safely drive to work sites and hike rights-of-way up to 10 miles/day.
• Inspect and document vegetation work at customer properties.
• Record vegetation data using tablets and specialized software.
• Address customer concerns and maintain positive relations.
• Participate in storm and emergency response duties.
