Davey Tree Surgery Co. in Stanton, KY is seeking a dynamic utility tree trimmer to join our outdoor team. Your office is outdoors, and you will gain a new view every day.

You will climb trees using DdRT/MRS or SRT/SRS systems, perform tree pruning and removal for major electric utilities, and operate tools like chainsaws, chippers and aerial lifts as part of a crew with a foreperson. Qualifications

• Outdoor aptitude and willingness to work outdoors.
• Must complete Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program on hire.
• Must complete Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course on hire.
• Valid drivers license required.
• Preferred: CDL-Class A or B with Airbrake Endorsement.
• Preferred: line clearance experience or related tree work.
• Preferred: pesticides licenses or certificates as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Climb trees using DdRT/MRS or SRT/SRS systems.
• Perform pruning and removal for major electric utilities.
• Prune treetops and repair damaged trees by trimming or removal.
• Remove broken limbs from lines, roofs, and other objects.
• Operate tools and equipment including chainsaws and aerial lifts.
• Work as part of a crew with foreperson and ground crew.
• Career growth depends on performance.
