Job summary

Davey Tree Surgery Co. is seeking a dynamic outdoor professional to join our utility tree trimming team. The office is outdoors, offering a new view every day as you work on pruning and removing trees for major electric utility providers.

Candidates should enjoy outdoor work and be able to complete required safety and training courses during hire. A valid driver’s license is required, with CDL preferred for advanced duties and travel.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Orientation program completion required upon hire.
• First aid, CPR and defensive driving course completion upon hire.
• Line clearance experience or related tree work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform tree pruning and removal for major electric utilities.
• Climb trees using DdRT/MRS or SRT/SRS climbing systems.
• Maintain and operate chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts and related equipment.
• Work as part of a crew with foreperson and ground crew to ensure safety and efficiency.
