Job summary

The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking a safety‑focused crew member to perform professional tree climbing, pruning, and removal services on-site in Stanton, KY. You’ll work with a crew handling complex utility client projects, using DdRT/MRS and SRT/SRS climbing systems and a full suite of equipment.

Responsibilities include removing damaged limbs, maintaining gear, and supporting ground crew under a foreperson. CDL is preferred; training and development are provided.

Qualifications

• Love of the outdoors and safety-focused work.
• Valid driver’s license is required; CDL preferred.
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree orientation and safety trainings upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Climb trees using DdRT/MRS and SRT/SRS climbing systems.
• Perform pruning and removal work safely for utility clients.
• Remove damaged limbs and repair trees near structures; use tools safely.
• Maintain and operate chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts and related gear.
• Work as part of a crew with foreperson and ground staff.
